What have you been listening to?
It’s a question I’m so often asked, and is truly one of my favorite questions. I love music, I love discovering new music and I love sharing those new discoveries. The concept of KaneTrax is so I can share with you exactly what I have been listening to. As a kid, one of my favorite things to do was making mixes. I can remember recording things from the radio, dubbing cassette tapes, a short stint with mini-discs, and eventually burning CDs. Today it’s even easier with digital and streaming music, but to me it’s still just creating a mix of tunes I enjoy and hope others will too. On KaneTrax, you’ll find monthly(-ish) playlists published with a sampling of what ever has grabbed me recently. Most of it is focused on new releases, but it’s really about discovery, so if its new to me, it could be a 50 year old recording. I could never discover so much music without recommendations, so if you hear something you think I’d enjoy, please, suggest away.
