Daniel Donato kicks things off this month with an absolute ripper. I stumbled onto his album intrigued by his self-described “cosmic country” style and was not disappointed. Check the entire release for a couple nice covers too. You may have heard this Jhené Aiko tune already and for good reason. Lionel Boy is probably not on your radar but should be, as is Lou Turner, showcasing her simple, beautiful vocals. A very nice tune from Omar Apollo’s strongest album yet right in the middle this month. And if you have been following KaneTrax for a while, you know I dig the Nude Party, and their sophomore album did not disappoint.
