I’ve been listening to Saint Cloud, the latest album from Waxahatchee on repeat this month. The songs are just fantastic and Lilacs is seemingly stuck in my head perpetually. Ginger Root drops some fun and funky loop-track infused melodies on us with Karaoke, and don’t miss the video either. Steve “The Hair” Harrington of Stranger Things fame, or Joe Keery if you prefer his real name, has a band called Djo, and they have a really enjoyable psych’d out vibey rock record. And I’ve gotta hand it to Phish. Not only do the drop a surprise album in the middle of a global pandemic, but they manage to really lay it down. They take it out there with the nine-spot and a real banger in Thread.
