September 2019

It’s a beautiful day in this neighborhood… for fresh KaneTrax!

I had a good chuckle when I first heart Okey Dokey’s psych-ish cover of Mr. Rogers theme song and kick things off on that note.  A bunch of other great tunes this month.  I’m really loving new Fruit Bats, and can’t wait to hear lead singer Eric D. Johnson’s upcoming release with Bonny Light Horseman, a folky side project.  Garage rocker Ty Segall’s latest album has been on repeat for me lately, and this tune grabbed me from an otherwise noisy yet eloquently flowing album.  Brittany Howard has me very excited for her first album sans Alabama Shakes.  And to close things down, Black Peaches with the driving, 60’s-esque track that will quench your musical thirst!
